Following the government’s announcement it will merge the Department for International Development into the Foreign Office, I joined ODI chief executive Sara Pantuliano, Kenyan High Commissioner HE Manoah Esipisu, Elissa Golberg from Canada’s Global Affairs, and Birgitta Tazelaar from the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to debate the implications for the UK’s contribution to international development, and the values we project as Global Britain.
