Debate: big pharma and lessons from the pandemic at the good business festival

I was invited to The Good Business Festival to debate what lessons could be learned about the way the pharmaceutical industry has responded to Covid. While vaccines were developed at impressive pace, an inequitable system for manufacture and distribution has left millions of people in lower-income countries without access to life-saving vaccines. We discussed what lessons could be drawn and applied to other global challenges, from the climate crisis to economic inequality.
