Speech: progressive internationalism and the UN

As an internationalist to my core, it was an honour to be asked to give the keynote speech to the United Nations Association UK’s annual conference. In the face of global challenges from the climate crisis to Covid-19, the need for meaningful global cooperation and progressive internationalism has never been greater. Afterwards, I spoke to UNA-UK director Natalie Samarasinghe about how people up and down the UK can get involved in pushing for a better future, and moves to reform the UN process and help facilitate a participation revolution.
